The Learning Game is OUT today!

The day is finally here! The Learning Game is officially available all over the world

Dear friends,

I cannot believe the day is finally here! You can now find The Learning Game in bookstores near you, and in all formats (audiobook, kindle, hardcopy) wherever you shop for books online.

It feels surreal… what started as a small newsletter turned into a book... an actual book! And it’s all because of you all. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for believing in me and supporting my work. I cannot wait for you to read the final product and let me know what you think!

Let me tell you, writing a book is one thing. Trying to sell it is a whole ‘nother beast.

I’ve spent the past few months having great conversations on several podcasts (they will all come out this week, so stay tuned!), writing articles for newspapers and magazines, doing radio interviews and other speaking engagements, recording the audiobook for The Learning Game, planning book events, and trying to share more content on my social platforms (see my instagram, youtube, and tiktok).

Yes.. all this in preparation for launch week. And here I was, thinking that September 5 marked the end of this process. Little did I know.. that it’s just the beginning.

I got this sound advice from a friend and fellow author:

“Launching a book is like running an all out mile (launch week), only to find yourself on the start-line of a 5K (first month) only to find yourself on the start-line of a marathon (first year). Do what you can to stay patient and conserve energy. Everyone stresses the first week but good-selling books are made over the first year.”
